I have been reading Donna’s books for years and this one is truly one of her best yet. Bria and Kaelan’s story from the very first page, Donna sets the tempo and draws you into their adventure. The detail of her writing made me feel like I was right there living it for myself, I was so engrossed in it. I didn’t realize I had been reading into the wee hours of the morning the first night I started the book. It’s a page turner and I couldn’t put it down I had to see what happened next. There was a wide range of emotions, sadness, fear and lol humor. Wait until you meet Fiora you will have tears in your eyes from laughing so hard. The surprises I didn’t see coming moments are there also. You’ll get to see Elara and Dar along with King Darvaic and Adira again from the first book to tie the books together at the end. King Darvaic hasn’t changed he and Adira’s book is next and I can’t wait till it comes out.
The second book has so much magic, mystery and adventure. Bria was a relatable heroine whose quiet strength shone as she ventured beyond the safety of her home, growing more confident while staying true to her compassionate nature. The mystery surrounding Kaelan kept me turning the pages, with each revelation adding another layer to the story as the two uncovered secrets and found love along the way. Filled with adventure, magical encounters, and intriguing discoveries, this was a satisfying second installment that expanded the world beautifully. I can’t wait to see where the series goes next.
This was one of the best fantasy stories I ever read. I love the suspense and intrigue that is throughout the book. Donna has build a world of magic and wonder that you just want to live it. I cannot wait for book 3 and I hope this is not the only magical series she writes. I hope for many more to come!
Another master piece from Donna, you will thoroughly enjoy Kaelan and Bria story and just wait to you meet Fiona. That will be a mon stop smile on your face.
Kaelan and Bria story line is about finding Love and secrets and have the faith to Love the whole of a person no matter the secrets that lies within or the magical forces that could tear you apart.
