The final book in Donna Fletcher’s Highland Wishes Trilogy is filled with twists, magic, and discoveries that pull everything together in a satisfying way. Fawn is a lively, outspoken heroine with a warm heart, and Rhodes is a fierce warrior whose softer side appears only around her. Their strong personalities clash yet complement each other, making their journey engaging to follow. The revelation about Rhodes’ identity and the warnings from Fawn’s mother were unexpected and fresh, and the stronger use of magic added excitement without taking away from the romance. Overall, it’s an enjoyable read with a blend of humor, action, mystery, and love that keeps you turning the pages.

In this the third and final book, it’s time to read Rhode’s story. His wish to be free of life’s problems, to have power, be undefeated in battle, and feared by all granted. A year latter all is going to plan. This until a spirited women named Fawn burst unexpectedly through his castle door. With his world now turned upside down, comedy ensues. The man who had it all, realizes there’s one more thing he wants, but she’s not interested.
This book is a real page turner with twist and turns and a OMG ending that you’re not going to believe. As always Donna has a way of writing that pulls you into her books and makes you think your right there with the main characters. Waiting to see how it all turns out. I highly recommend this book and the entire series. You won’t be disappointed.

Rhodes a Great and Dominant Warrior wish granted but some wishes should not be granted for they unleashed evil forces that can’t be controlled. Fawn ability with nature and animals is extremely powerful but she controls her powers and stays hidden in the woods, until Rhodes abuse of nature forces her into the keep to demand that he stops taking more than he need. Rhodes no longer familiar with anyone challenging him instant wants no other than Fawn and finds away to use her determination to get her to wed. They than must learn to trust and believe that sometimes you have to reveal your secrets and relinquish your almighty strength to fight the evil trying to destroy everything and than they will finally find happiness!

A great conclusion to this magical short story trilogy set in the winter wonderland that is the historical Scottish Highlands.
I really enjoyed Rhodes’ and Fawn’s story, my only complaint was that I wish it had been a full length novel, in order to give the characters a bit more time to develop, and a bit more time to fall in love. Otherwise, I quite enjoyed this book, just as I did with the previous two books in the trilogy.
Rhodes is dark and foreboding, but underneath it all, he has a marshmallow heart, especially when it comes to Fawn. But there’s also something about him, something mysterious. . . and potentially evil??
You’ll have to read the book to find out the truth!
Fawn, on the other hand, is just lovely and absolutely fierce! I love her attitude and her way with animals. And I think she’s met her match with Rhodes.
So, take a trip into the historic, snow-covered Highlands and enjoy a bit of mystery, a bit of magic, a bit of suspense, and a whole lot of love. You won’t regret it.

The Dominant Warrior delivers a captivating Highland romance filled with fierce chemistry, stubborn pride, and a perfect clash of wills. Rhodes is every bit the commanding warrior—intense, powerful, and shaped by a dangerous wish—while Fawn’s fiery independence and compassion make her a heroine impossible to tame. Their dynamic is electric from the start, blending tension, humor, and heartfelt moments, especially during the beautifully written foaling scene that shifts everything between them.
Donna Fletcher’s writing shines with rich atmosphere, memorable side characters, and a touch of magic woven seamlessly into the Highland setting. Fans of strong heroines, brooding warriors, and fate-touched love stories will find this a deeply satisfying read.
I received an ARC of this book and am happily giving an honest review.
