Meet The Macardle Sisters... A New Trilogy!

Highland hills mistTrouble is brewing int he Highlands!

Three courageous and tenacious sisters born out of heartbreak and courage. The awareness that their loving father is not in his sound mind comes too late for the Macardle sisters. In debt, a fire that blinds the one sister, losing their mum, on the verge of battle with a nearby clan, and having to accept a half-brother, they knew nothing about, as the clan’s new chieftain, and all brought on by their father’s deteriorating illness.

The three sisters band together to keep what they have left of their family. They swear to remain together, never be parted, but the promise isn’t easy to keep. There is much to be settled, much to be made right, and far too many issues that could cost the three of them the bond that binds them tight.

Nature was a way of life for their mother, forever learning from it, and so she bestowed upon her daughters, names connected with nature that she felt best suited them.

Willow, the oldest and you would think the take-charge one, is much like the willow tree she’s named after. She’s able to sway and adapt to her circumstances like the willow does during a storm, bending with the battering wind instead of against it and thus survives. Then there is the enduring strength of a willow and how easily it produces new life. But one must not forget that the willow roots easily and once dug in, it does not let go.

Sorrell is the middle sister, petite in size, but with a forceful nature that belies her small stature. She speaks her mind, often too much, and casts her opinion when it hasn’t been asked and while not always welcomed, sometimes needed. Like the plant she’s named after that provides relief for some maladies, she provides relief for problems plaguing her sisters. And those who unwisely dismiss and ignore her should be aware that sorrell can be deadly in high doses.

Snow is the quiet one, more like her mother than anyone realizes, and unfortunately blinded after saving her father from a fire. She now sees only shadows, but is confident with time, her sight will be restored. She soothes when necessary and brings peace to chaos when needed. Light and refreshing like the delicate snow she is named after, one needs to remember the power a snowstorm can unleash.

Highlander of My Heart, book one of the Macardle Sisters of Courage Trilogy has a tentative release date of late March.

I can’t wait for the Macardle Sisters of Courage. This sounds like an up all nighter read. What fun. I love your books. I have a nice collection of all of them. Between the ones I bought on Amazon and then getting the Amazon Kindle cloud. I have your books on there as well.
It’s so great having adventure like this in one’s life is really great! I don’t get adventures in my life except through your books. You can get all the feelings the characters have. You can get mad right along with them, or hurt with them and even laugh with them. There would be a few times I could have slapped ones face for things that they have said or did.
Your books are so much fun, and I love that. It’s great to just about, live their lives with them.
