I’ve dropped a few hints about what I’ll be working on after Destiny of a King, and now I’m finally ready to share more—including the cover!
Meet the Highland Lords of War & Thunder.
Before my new trilogy begins, you’ll meet three legendary Highlanders in Highland Lords of War & Thunder: A Prequel.
Legion — the Lord of War.
A warrior whose mastery of the battlefield has made him a legend.
Torden — the Lord of Thunder.
As dangerous for the way he thinks as for the claymore he carries.
And then there’s Creagan. I’m keeping a few secrets about him for now.
Thee three men kneel to neither crown nor throne and answer to no one… until Queen Eudora of Morra Mist summons them.
Why three legendary Highlanders would answer a queen’s summons—and what awaits them on an isle called Morra Mist—is where the adventure begins.
The prequel will be followed by:
Book One — Highlander Lord of War
Book Two — Highlander Lord of Thunder
Book Three — Creagan’s story… and I’m keeping his title a secret for now.
I’m hoping to have the prequel ready for you this September, around the same time as Destiny of a King.
And, if everything goes according to plan, not much longer to wait for either one.
Until next time, hugs!
Donna

So glad you enjoyed it, Bernie.
I finished reading the Prequel and I honestly can’t wait for more. The world is intriguing and I can’t wait to get to know Legion, Torden, and Creagan much better. I am so excited to see where each lord’s story would take us.
Hi Shell, so happy you enjoyed it. Working hard on the first book.
