Scotara is not Scotland — though it carries the same rugged spirit. It is a Highland-inspired realm of misted forests, quiet villages, shadowed mountains, and borders where danger lingers just beyond sight. It is a land where kings rule from stone keeps, Hunters move unseen across the Highlands, and whispers of forbidden magic drift through the trees.
This is the world Elara walks. This is the land where she will be hunted. And this is the realm where love must survive beneath the shadow of power.
Creating Scotara allowed me to step beyond history while still honoring the atmosphere I love — the wild beauty, the loyalty, the tension between crown and clan. Here, I could let magic stir beneath the surface.
